Michal_s amazing Bapchu. She_s 107 years old, has seen three centuries, speaks a gazillion languages, and is a just plain wonderful lady!

SPIDERS: This is a recently hatched nest of spiders that wasn_t there a couple hours before and was gone the next day. There were hundreds of spiders crawling around and dispersing in the breeze - pretty creepy, but so cool!

We had a falafel dinner with our neighbors. Michal gave some cooking lessons and we all enjoyed great food and great company

The fire-lookout at the peak was converted to a hikers hut some years ago. Getting up to it requires climbing a ladder, which Ghia bravely accomplished in her daddy_s arms :)

Michal came back from Israel a day after my birthday, but we got to celebrate the next day thanks to a wonderful cake and sound-system improvement donated by the Russo family :)

On the ride back, dressed up bicyclers whizzed by us yelling _left_ and _path_ etc... Michal ended up with a pin in her tire that read _USA Cycling_. We though it was funny that cycling paraphanelia would include pins :)

Michael_s birthday was super fun! Michal made Michael a cake and had a big suprise party for him. What a sweet lady :)
